Reviewer:   Anonymous   Review Date:  4/8/05      Rate This Apartment     The apartments must be filled with lots of roommates because parking is beginning to get ridiculous. People are starting to park next to the dumpsters, in the handicapped spaces, and there's even some double parking going on! I do like the maintenance and the management. I like the perks of having free one-day video rentals and free one-day passes to the fitness center down the street (even though I don't really take the management up on these offers, it's nice to know they're there). It's also a really great location in town, and I feel safe here... Moving on...I've lived here for 2 years and I've outlasted many neighbors that share an entire dividing wall with me, and MY bedroom (my roommate has a room that shares a wall with the quiet neighbors, lucky her), and I have ALWAYS had problems with our neighbors being loud! First, it started off with fighting neighbors, then I had partying neighbors, and now I have a neighbor that plays her violin at all hours of the night while I'm trying to sleep. I can hear her in my bedroom when she's playing in her living room! I can also hear the people that live in the apartment directly below me playing their music really early in the morning. It's pretty ridiculous that both the floor and the walls are so thin!! Oh yeah, if not having your water running ticks you off, this might not be the place for you. We've experienced the water being turned off without notice for "repairs". We went two weeks without hot water about a year ago, our air conditioning went out twice during the hottest nights of summer because they didn't fix it right the first time, and our garbage disposal went out twice, thanks to that lovely double-the-work guarantee.
