| | | | Review Title: Follow Up Onthe Februaryreview | | | | | | Reviewer: Anonymous | | | | Review Date: 11/28/04 | | | | | | | Rate This Apartment | | | | | | | Congratulatios onfinding mentioni of this apartment before hopefully moving there.Havinglived there since shortly after the other review here was written I can onlysuggest it's gotten much worse, although the flaky manager was fired.THe company that was hired prompts me to be working on this now.As the review indicates, it's a bad location and has only cost goingfor it.The new management company though is quite corrupt.I'll try to update this when they are gone, because for some, this place could do them well.I have not bothered to modify the settings below, wish I could set them all to not specified.Stuart Wolf was hired by the owners, who are out of state, and run a tax evasion business.Apparently the reasonit's been largely vacant and not apparently that expensive is because the owner needed an income shelter for a while at least- but beyond speculation expect a nasty relationship with those who work there.Stuart and his ilk believe that they can lie and cheat without restraint, as long as its' not in writing.So if you don't mind that, and don't mind a strictly what you see is what you get type deal, then go for it, and do your best to play there game.But as far as teh construction and hVAC goes, block is very transparent as far as noise goes- or heat.Try not to get a 'new' ac equiped unit, they are the cheapest and least efficient on the market, and the old ones work far better.If you move there put the specs of the ac you have in your lease, and require that if it breaks you get at least as good in it's place.The reality is that you've looked this far, look a little bit further adn you will find better, for less.I've met neighbors mvoing out because of the tvnoise, and depending on what floor you are on,yoi might pay several bucks a day for cooling, or next to nothing if you are lucky to have cool neighbors....In closing these remarks are not sufficient.You can rest assured that I will revisit this website from time to time and soon as facts develop.If you are already living here or on your way out, as I am probably,(I would of left alreadybut have been provoked into fighting the good fight at awesome risk and expense) please say Hi here and at some of the other tenant websites. | | | | |
