Reviewer:   Anonymous   Review Date:  7/21/05      Rate This Apartment     My daughter lived at North Pointe during her senior year. During that year Danielle would call us in Glendale to tell us that windows in the North Pointe apartment next door were shattered, or that the noise from the 'band' on the ground floor at North Pointe was so loud that she could not sleep; or that the nude student who threatened the girls in the next-door apartment at North Pointe had been asked to leave the complex; or that again, the band on the ground floor of Building 12 at North Pointe was so loud she could not study or sleep; or that the furniture on the balcony at North Pointe now holds trash and garbage; or that the broken beer bottles at North Pointe littered the steps and the walkway for the last week and Danielle had to swept it up or else look forward to glass in her tires or shoes; or that someone threw trash and garbage and furniture on the roof of the next building at North Pointe; or that the noise from the apartment below was again loud and the marijuana smell at North Pointe was enough to keep her up again all night. The list goes on and on and when I told the community manager, Rick Mucklow, (how appropriate), he became quite defensive saying that he took great pride in what the complex looks like. Great Rick, but talk is cheap. I don't know how Danielle lived in that place for as long as she did - it is truly a testament to her strength. As for future tenants, please look elsewhere before you sign on the dotted line. You will be paying quite a nice chunck of change for a dismal return.
