Reviewer:   Anonymous   Review Date:  11/11/05      Rate This Apartment     I asked specifically if there was a pet deposit and was told that I only had to pay $20 a month. Then, after driving 700 miles in one day I arrived only to find out that I had to pay a $300 pet deposit. When we went into our apartment we found that one of the burners on our stove did not work, the new linoleum in the bathroom had not even been sealed, and the carpet was poorly laid. Also, we were supposed to get a free months rent for signing a year lease; 2 weeks later we received a letter on our door threatening us with eviction if we didn't pay our rent. After we finally got that straightened out we received a letter on our door saying we owed them $4 (no explanation of what it was owed for). When I called to see what was going on no one had a clue! They kept telling me I would have to call back when the manager was there. Finally it ended up that it was just a mistake in their computer (likely story, I think they just like to harrass people). Then, late one night my dog clawed some of the slats out of their wooden blinds because there was some guy standing outside my window. I reported this to the office and told them I would pay for the blinds. A work order was supposedly put in, but they still haven't been fixed. And last, but not least, one of the office employees showed up at my door today with a letter saying I was going to be fined $50 every time a didn't pick up my dog's shit. She said they had received a complaint about it the night before. I'll tell you why this is a bunch of bull. I always clean up after my dog! And how the hell can they prove it was me? Am I going to be fined $50 every time a stray shits on their lawn!!!!!!! The only reason this came about was because on of the other tennants through a fit at me because my truck was too loud and because I gave her a dirty look! DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. THIS PLACE IS A HELL HOLE.
