| Beautiful grounds, great location. Non existent maintenenace. Put in a repair request, and they will come out in about 2 weeks, then tell you that there is nothing wrong with it. The chain of ownership and management is to not spend money, so this is what happens.
Rent increases have been heavy recently.
It is rumored that HSL just sold the property and that it will be converted into condos, so you will have to find a new place to live. The other half of the property was converted 6 months ago, so this would be no surprise.
They do have a new property manager, who is really good, but her hands are tied on expenditures, so things are not as good as they should be.
It is an old property and things are breaking, buildings are settling. No apartment around here is built very well. They all have accoustically transparent walls. this one is like the rest. The roof needs repair and I have heard complaints of roof leaks.
It is quiet and pretty. It could be great if it had a different owner. |
