Apartment Review for Bear Canyon Apartments - Tucson, AZ

Reasons I hate Bear Canyon: Car towed after 17 minutes parked along the walkway while I unloaded groceries and 2 yr old. "Heated" pool that is so cold I had to cancel my 2 yr old's swim lessons. Second pool that I have nice pictures of frogs in it. This usually only happens on the weekend when maintenance is non existent. I spent May and June watching repair person after repair person try to resurrcet the 12 yr old A/C unit instead of replace it. The portable unit that management gave me was great (NOT), it kept the kitchen and living room below 80 at least. Office staff leave early, so good luck getting packages after work. 4 days is the avergage time it has taken for small maintenance issues to be addresses. Lots of apartments are leased to companies for travelers, nurses, military, sales, etc. It is great not knowing who belongs in your building when you have kids. Talk to residents, you will find variations on what people are paying per month as much as $240/month. The travelers that have the parties, come and go at all hours, etc get the best rates. Darlene, the manager, is a dream. She can lie better than anyone I have ever met in my life. Good luck if you rent here folks. Keep $220 bucks in your pocket for your towing fees when Darlene calls them to get your car. Email me if you need more info.
