Apartment Review for Bellevue Garden Apartments - Tucson, AZ

Owner is hostile to animals even though pets were here when the property was purchased. Has harrased tenants who have pets. Says he hates pets on 'his' property, even though he doesn not live on the property. Does not connect with tenants as human beings who live here. Manager reflects this hostility toward tenants. Looses her temper and acts unprofessionally. She pits the residents against each other by asking questions about other ternants and having them 'tattle-tail' on each other. Flirts with male tenants and owner even though she is married/children. Manager has issues with her percieved power over tenants. Does not live on the property either. She thinks of tenants as her 9 to 5 problem. She has harrassesd tenants who have serious health problems, unconcerened that they are so stressed out it is causing they to see their doctor. Unresponsive to important issues like trash cans overflowing causing a health hazard. Unresponsive to complaints about problem tenants. Priorities are NOT tenant satisfaction. No security of any sort. People walk through the property all the time that do not live here. Management removed the door locks on all apartments because it was 'too much trouble to unlock two locks to get in'. Maintainance person has no respect for entering apartments and going into private areas without speaking first to the tenant. Has made a mess of peoples clothes, and beds climbing over them to get into closets. People are moving out in droves after they see through the facade of what it is really like to live here. Looks quiet, but not worth putting up with being threatened all the time. Manager too fond of playing 'apartment cop' to be worth putting yourself through feeling like you can't relax in your own home. Thumbs down, way down, to this place.
