Apartment Review for Los Portales - Tucson, AZ

I agree that sound-proofing is pretty much non-existent. That's where my agreement with the largely negative reviews ends. I moved to LP to care for my parents living nearby and only left when that obligation ended 16 months later and I could return to my preferred north central Tucson. I found the office staff EXTREMELY friendly, helpful and professional. The maintenance staff were ALWAYS prompt, knowledgeable and efficient. During my stay, the roofs of all apt buildings were reconditioned as were both pools and pool decks. Those are significant capital expenditures. Groundskeepers were on the property 3x/wk, which may actually be overkill; twice would probably be sufficient. I received my deposit refund in 20 days, not speedy, but not awful. If the property was located where I wish to be, I'd have stayed a very long time.
