Apartment Review for Oasis Apartments - Tucson, AZ

This was the worst living experience i have ever had, even though I only lived there for a couple of months. Like other reviews mention, huge roach problem, police raids weekly, mental hospital next door w/ lots of sirens! Worst of all was the staff! I waited for over a month and a half to get a new mail box lock and was unable to get my mail for the whole duration and even after numerous work orders, still nothing was done. I actually had to move out and wait for my mail to be returned to sender or forwarded to my new place because the management was so slow to fix the problem. Actually the management didn't fix issues we ever put work orders in, and even told us to fix it ourselves if we were sick of waiting. Bottom line... The Oasis Apartments are Slum apartments that is ran by Slum lords! If at all possible, live somewhere else! Don't make the same mistake that my girlfriend and I made. The other person who reviewed this apartment and said it was nice obviously works for Oasis apartments because i didnt know one person that was happy living there, except for all of the drug dealers who do great business there. And once you move out, expect the management to try to keep all your security deposit ( $450), and expect them to give you every excuse to not give you any of the money. Seriously stay away from this place.
