Apartment Review for Rio Seco Apartments - Tucson, AZ

This place is the bowels of hell quite literally. You will be greeted with your thugs and gangsters. You will see drive by's going on and you might even see a murder happen. There is no doubt that the cockroaches will be Rio Seco's longest staying resident as the management can't seem to get control of the problem and ALL buildings in this hell hole have roach problems. You will have to pack up your cabinets several times during your stay so they can bomb your apartment along with all your neighbors and the roaches will still be number 1 as they are so immune to any chemicals that Rio Seco uses to get rid of the problem and if they do happen to kill some of the roaches, you will be responsible to clean up the dead carcasses because the "management is not responsible for doing that." Even if your not the one who started the roach population. Be prepared to be greeted with old appliances and the most hideous cabinets you ever did see in your life because Rio Seco will not upgrade any of that stuff. I am sure the appliances and cabinets have been there since Jesus Christ himself walked the earth. You just might get electrocuted or caught on fire because Rio Seco is not concerned about your safety. They are only concerned with prying cash out of your hands. They will suck you dry for every last penny you got. Upon moving out be prepared for them to ream you good for even more money. Just because they can. Even if you leave your apartment in very good condition and its really clean, you are going to be charged out the butt for painting, cleaning, cleaning parking spaces (yes, apparently they charge to clean a parking space just because they want to.), carpet and whatever else they can dream up. They will do this after charging you a renter's insurance fee, water, trash and sewer and rent and you will be charged for a reserved parking space. You can opt out of that of course but you will likely not find any free visitor parking as the gangsters and all their party peeing off the balcony friends will have those spaces occupied. So if you want to save money, value your safety and that of your children and you don't want to catch some god awful disease from Rio Seco's longest surviving residents aka the cockroaches, then please DON'T MOVE HERE! If you go ask the tenants around there they will all be in agreement as most are moving out of the hell hole known as Rio Seco. This is seriously the worst place I have ever lived at. I will never again come back to live here. This is putting it mildly.
